Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
The Implementation Project Manager, Commercial & MDU is responsible for managing and streamlining the sale-to-activation process for commercial properties and multi-dwelling units (MDUs). This role serves as the operational bridge between Sales, Engineering, Construction, and Field Operations to ensure timely building readiness, coordinated project execution, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Here's how you can contribute:
- Manage the full sale-to-service lifecycle for Commercial and MDU accounts, from signed agreement through successful activation.
- Partner with Sales to validate costing and scope of work to support project approval.
- Ensure pre-installation requirements-permissions, documentation, and site readiness-are secured and clearly communicated.
- Track and manage key project milestones including site surveys, permitting, construction, and inside wiring.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial property owners and MDU managers regarding construction progress and installation timelines.
- Provide customers & property managers with project timelines and updates, clearly communicating any changes or delays.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Construction, Field Operations, & external installation contractors to prioritize work and resolve blockers.
- Ensure SiteTracker and related systems reflect accurate, real-time status of all approved and active commercial and MDU projects.
- Monitor customer feedback and escalate issues as needed to maintain high service standards.
- Build and maintain reporting to track, manage, and improve the project pipeline from approval to service turn-up.
- Identify process gaps or bottlenecks and drive cross-functional improvements.
- Lead and develop a small team to support project tracking, communication, and coordination efforts, ensuring timely execution and accountability.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, project coordination, or service delivery roles within telecom, fiber, or a related industry.
- Proven track record managing commercial and/or MDU projects involving cross-functional coordination.
- Experience leading or supervising a small team, with demonstrated ability to delegate, coach, and drive accountability.
- Familiarity with permitting, construction workflows, and service activation processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of working across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SiteTracker, Asana).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
