Electrical Engineer

Costa Mesa, CA | Hybrid | Full-Time | $85,000$120,000 DOE

Are you passionate about designing critical infrastructure that supports clean water and sustainable communities? Were seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join a nationally recognized team focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities.

What Youll Do

• Lead and support detailed electrical power systems design for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Perform load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and generate technical specifications.
• Conduct field investigations and support startup activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 612 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in water/wastewater or related infrastructure.
• PE license (or in the process of obtaining).
• Proficiency in power system applications: short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE Color Book Series.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self-starting mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Nice to Have

• Experience with electrical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Knowledge of municipal water reuse, fire protection, and electrical safety standards.
• Exposure to commissioning, field startup, and control systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

We will include standard holidays & 10 PTO days (negotiable)
