MEP Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong experience in managing commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the MEP Manager during preconstruction to evaluate systems, conduct value engineering, and identify constructability issues.
  • Oversee all MEP-related construction activities and interface with non-MEP contractors to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Support schedule development and maintain manpower logs; plan major equipment lifts.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities, third-party testing, and MEP start-ups; resolve deficiencies noted in commissioning reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, safety programs, and technical standards.
  • Lead on-site management of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection installations.
  • Educate staff on MEP guidelines; review system implications on phasing and project delivery.
  • Manage MEP coordination, logistics planning, and temporary facility layout.
  • Maintain accurate records, as-builts, and familiarity with all project documentation.
  • Execute punchlist completion strategy and ensure State and Federal compliance in documentation.
  • Notify stakeholders of project milestones and responsibilities; coordinate inspections and maintain site organization.
  • Enforce safety policies, CCIP requirements, and quality control protocols.
  • Track MEP installation progress and compliance; manage daily reports and site safety meetings.
Essential Skills
  • Preferred four-year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent experience in field-related duties, including any accredited apprentice programs.
  • 7+ years of MEP experience with a commercial contractor.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability of project teams with successful outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the MEP construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower.
  • Experience with Procore.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
