Maintenance Electrician - Juneau AK

Federal OandM Contractor seeking Maintenance Electrician for facilities maintenance. Must have 3 yrs recent documented exp. in commercial and industrial electrical, mechanical and structural maintenance services IN COMMERCIAL FACILITIES. Must have State of Alaska Journeyman Electricians certificate of fitness; NICET certification a plus. ***Incumbent will also act as Assist Facilities Manager with the day to day supervision of workers and supervise in the absence of the Manager.**

Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and service calls on all facility electrical distribution and equipment to include heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. They will service, install, replace, and modify facility assets according to specifications and established safety guidelines under the direction of the Supervisor/Project Manager.

JOB DUTIES (Include but not limited to): INSTALL, REMOVE, REPLACE, electrical conduit or tubing, electrical fixtures or components, electronic, equipment, components, or systems, connect electrical equipment to power circuits, pull electrical or electronic cable or wiring, replace relays, contractors, circuit breakers, ballasts, or related measuring or control devices, equipment or attachments on machinery or related structures, or control assemblies in supportive framework. Must be self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking and honest. Must have AK driver's license.

Details: This position is part of a Federal Service Contract Act policy; benefits are determined based on location of position. SCA provides an earned Fringe Benefit (currently $4.57) that is used to provide Insurances if elected; if the premiums do not utilize the full earned value the remainder is contributed to the company 401K on the employees behalf. If insurance is waived the full earned benefit value will be contributed to our company 401K plan with 100% vested value as of first contribution.
