ECAD Electrical Design Engineer LV Systems

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop LV switchgear systems , including MCC, PCC panels, Databars/Busways, tap-off boxes, metering, and protection relays. Lead the design of LV electrical control panels for manufacturing applications. Perform engineering calculations for busbars, cables, and load distribution. Generate general arrangement drawings, control schematics , and wire harnesses . Ensure compliance with ANSI standards and other applicable codes. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless execution of designs. Utilize AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Autodesk Vault for design, revision control, and documentation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 6-8 years of industry-relevant experience in LV switchgear design and manufacturing . Strong experience in designing low-voltage electrical control panels . Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical , and Autodesk Vault . Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams.
