CAD Technician

Job Description

This position involves creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components based on existing examples and providing design support for future initiatives. The role requires producing highly detailed plan and elevation views to standardize workspaces and designs across a broad network of fulfillment operations. A successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of working with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed drawings of material handling equipment and components.
  • Provide design support for future initiatives.
  • Produce detailed plan views and elevation views as required.
  • Standardize workspaces and designs across fulfillment operations.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD 2D.
  • Experience in design and drafting processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years operating experience in CAD.
  • Ability to work and manage layers in CAD systems.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
