Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machines using power and hand tools.
Provides assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics.
Perform basic maintenance and parts replacement on Overhead Cranes and Jib Hoist.
Disassembles equipment to gain access to defective parts, examines parts for wear and breakage.
Replaces worn or damaged parts.
Cleans and lubricates equipment and machines.
A basic understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics, and all of the components involved).
May also perform some of the duties of a welder, such as arc welding, and oxyacetylene cutting.
Must pass background check. Convictions considered on a case by case basis.
