Job Posting: Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. As a key member of our electrical department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices

Ensure all electrical installations meet local and national electrical codes

Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians

Collaborate with other trades and project managers to complete projects on time

Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications:

Valid General Journeyman, LME, MPE, Electrician licenses required

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician

Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

Experience commercial and industrial electrical systems

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
