Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Welder 2

All the skills of a welder 1 plus:

Know the principle of several welding methods.

Able to layout, cut material and assembly simple protects.

Able to perform task with very little supervision

Education and Experience

High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.

Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely

Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee is subject to extreme inside environmental conditions frequently with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change. Must be able to endure the extreme heat of summer weather.

Primarily works in a manufacturing and dusty environment.

Frequently required use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear clearly.

Frequently required to bend; lift; stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
