Lead Finish Carpenter (5+ years experience required, Mon-Fri, vehicle)

The Lead Finish Carpenter should have prior experience and not only possess integrity but have the experience demonstrating the following skills

Role and Responsibilities

* Install interior and exterior finish materials including trim, casing, baseboards, crown molding, cabinetry, and doors
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans, maintain jobsite paperwork
* Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
* Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations
* Repair and restore woodwork during renovation projects
* Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision tools such as routers, planers, and saws
* Maintain a clean and organized worksite and take necessary precautions to protect finished surfaces
* Proficiency with hand and power tools used in finish carpentry
* Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, building materials, and construction practices
* Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and crew members
* Supervise on-site labor
* Communicate all change orders immediately with customer and Project manager
* Train lower level carpenters the skills needed

Preferred Skills

* 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, preferably in residential remodeling
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Ability to work independently and/or with other team members or licensed master technicians
* Ability to diagnose, resolve or fix issues
* Able to schedule and follow scheduled dead lines
* Clean driving record and valid drivers license
* Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Objects over 50 lbs. must be accomplished with assistance from one or more person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
