Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a brake press and a shear, managing your own materials, and ensuring the accurate production of strainers used for sorting rocks by size. You will also perform various tasks across the shop as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a brake press and shear efficiently.

+ Select and position materials accurately on the press brake.

+ Attach a Sheetmetal cap to the end of materials.

+ Transport materials to the shear for final processing.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.

+ Assist with various tasks throughout the shop as required.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in machine operating.

+ Proficiency in operating brake press and shear.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Fabrication skills.

+ Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus but not required.

**Work Environment**

Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with two shifts available: 1st shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, and 2nd shift operates from 3:30pm to 2:00am.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Richmond, Wisconsin.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
