- Collaborate with various plants to resolve production challenges and enhance safety systems.
- Provide electrical assistance in troubleshooting, project engineering, and project management.
- Upgrade legacy technologies to current standards.
- Program automation and controls systems, improving existing PLC programs including servo drives and A/C drives.
- Manage electrical projects encompassing scheduling, financial oversight, and contractor work.
- Design, test, commission, start up, recondition equipment configurations, and engineer new technologies.
- Estimate labor hours, plan work, schedule tasks, coordinate activities, and report on progress.
- Serve as a corporate resource for automation systems development and implementation.
- Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming.
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks and network communication standards.
- Proficient computer skills including AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to various sites in North America.
- Experience with troubleshooting, controls engineering, Rockwell, Allen Bradley PLC, RSLogix, AutoCAD, electrical, mechanical, programming, automation, PLC troubleshooting, and HMI programming.
- Ability to travel 30-40% to other locations, primarily Monday through Friday, with all expenses paid and per diem provided.
