Job Purpose: The Business Development Manager role with special focus on Dynamic Aviations Defense Value Line of Business commissioned to: seek out opportunities in the Defense Market to apply the various products and services resident with Dynamic Aviation or our subcontractors; to establish enduring relationships within the Department of Defense and those commercial entities serving the Department of Defense; and to develop plans and strategies to bring value to the Department of Defense customer thru various applications of our aviation assets and services.

Duties:

+ Develop and maintain long term accounts by developing projects, developing personal relationships, and establishing customer relationships.

+ Own the development and execution of the strategy to meet order targets and prosecute the account plan development and implementation to develop lines of communication with customers and decision makers.

+ Establish and maintain positive partnerships and business relationships with new government contractors and customers.

+ Organize and manage a multi-year pipeline for far term or upstream business development opportunities.

+ Develop the marketing strategy with special focus on the Americas (North, Central, and South America.

+ Collaborate with internal departments including the Senior Leadership Team, the Administration of Human Resources, Finance, Contracts, Operations, Logistics and Maintenance as well as external partners to create value-based operations for the end-users.

+ Lead business development team in the marketing, identification, pursuit, capture, and the development of winning proposals, research products, white papers and company overall strategies.

+ Work with Contracts and Legal subject matter experts to assist in complex contract negotiations.

+ Assist in the selection and planning of conferences and other marketing events and attending these events as necessary.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

+ A solid understanding of Companys market: products, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related markets

+ A Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing is required; Masters degree (Desired)

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment meeting tight deadlines

+ Strong analysis abilities in conjunction with excellent long term focus

+ Ability to travel up to 50%

+ International BD or sales experience preferred

+ Ability to work in an open door/approachable business environment

+ 10 years experience in Business Development

+ Experience as a Capture Manager

+ Experience as a Program Manager (Desired)

+ PMP Qualified (Desired)

+ Lean Six-Sigma Qualified (Desired)

+ Shipley Trained in Capture Management

+ Multi-Lingual with an emphasis on the Central and South American Dialects. (Desired)

+ 15 years of experience operating in South America.

+ Familiarity with DoD International ISR Operations.
