Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Job Description
Develop 2D technical drawings and blueprints for mechanical components and systems. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and design intent. Use CAD software to produce accurate and detailed drawings. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products. Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes. Maintain organized records of drawings and technical documentation. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities

- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.

- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor Suite or similar software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Infor CSI and Arena (PLM) manufacturing software or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the manufacturing field is a plus.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position, requiring work on-site five days a week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
