Position Title: Quality Assurance Specialist, Inspector

Location: Fargo, ND

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist, Inspector providestechnical expertisein quality assurance for operations, maintenance, and contractual compliance related toHVAC, electrical, fire systems, and metering. This role ensures that inspections ofmaintenance, repair, and installationswithin buildings and accessory structures adhere toGSA Customer contract requirementsand all applicable regulations regardingbuilding maintenance, environmental standards, safety, and sanitation.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Preventative Maintenance Compliance:

+ Monitor thecomputerized maintenance management systemto ensure timely closure of preventative maintenance work orders.

+ Inspect completedpreventative maintenance (PM)and repairs incommercial and industrial buildingsto verify compliance with maintenance guides, contract requirements, and Federal, State, and Local codes.

+ Evaluate newequipment installationsin commercial and industrial spaces.

+ Reporting & Documentation:

+ Prepare and distributewritten reportson inspection findings and corrective actions.

+ Maintaininspection recordsand document recurring failures, environmental concerns, and equipment risks.

+ Metering & Technical Support:

+ Oversee theDFC metering program, ensuring monthly reporting accuracy.

+ Troubleshootphone line issuesrelated to the metering system and escalate problems as needed.

+ Regulatory Compliance & Advisory:

+ Providetechnical adviceto federal personnel onmechanical, electrical, and fire systemissues.

+ Assist in troubleshootingHVAC, electrical, and fire system failures, recommendingupgrades/modificationsas needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

+ Minimumfour years of experiencein building equipment installation and maintenance, includingelectrical, direct digital control, HVAC, and fire systems.

+ At leastone year of experiencemaintaininglaboratories and high-rise office buildings (10+ stories).

+ Requiredlicenses & certifications:

+ Stationary Engineer License (Colorado)

+ Electricians License (Colorado)

+ Universal CFC License

+ Fire Alarm Systems installation & inspection certification

+ Telecommunication Technician training and experience

+ Proficiency inMicrosoft Officeapplications.

+ Strongoral and written communication skillsfor reporting and coordination.

+ Ability totravelfor site visits, project reviews, conferences, and professional development.
