Structural Designer
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Type: Contract
Compensation: LEVEL 1- $30.00, LEVEL 2- $32.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid

System One is currently seeking a Structural Designer on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL.

Structural Designer Responsibilities:

• Produce design/fabrication drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and conceptual designs.
• Review vendor shop fabrication drawings, and preparing material takeoffs.

Structural Designer Requirements:

• Proficient using AutoCAD
• Steel/concrete detailing background is a plus
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers, design engineering staff and/or vendors
• LEVEL 1: 0-5 years experience, LEVEL 2: 5-7 years experience
• Two weeks working in the office in the beginning to have computer assigned, set-up and learn the job requirements. Once comfortable with work and team members the individual can work remotely.
