Job Description

Overview:

We are currently hiring both Lead and Apprentice Electricians for immediate openings with a growing company on the northwest side of Indianapolis. These are long-term positions with opportunities for growth, hands-on experience, and consistent work on commercial and industrial job sites.

Whether you're just starting your electrical career or have years of experience leading crews, we have a role for you.

Candidates must be able to travel throughout the Indianapolis area and be open to overnight job assignments as needed.

Pay Ranges:

Apprentice (1 2 years experience): $20.00 $23.00/hr

Lead Electrician (4+ years experience): $30.00 $40.00/hr

Pay is based on experience and position level. Competitive rates offered.

Lead Electrician Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate work for small to mid-sized crews

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specs

Install conduit, wiring, and electrical panels according to code

Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians

Perform quality checks and troubleshoot system issues

Ensure job site safety and compliance

Communicate with project managers and other trades

Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities:

Assist lead and journeyman electricians with installations and repairs

Pull wire, bend conduit, and help mount panels

Learn to read blueprints and follow electrical schematics

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Follow all safety protocols and take direction well

Show up reliably and with a willingness to learn

Requirements for Both Roles:

Must have basic hand tools and PPE

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day

Strong work ethic and team-player attitude

Reliable transportation and valid driver s license

Additional Requirements for Lead Role:

5+ years of electrical experience

Experience leading teams and reading plans

Strong understanding of NEC and OSHA guidelines

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
