This is a critical position supporting the Space Systems Company in Denver, CO working directly with our internal and external customers This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division located at the Waterton Facility in Littleton, CO. Individual will be part of a small networking team supporting a variety of classified areas and networks. LM Space classified copper and fiber infrastructure supports numerous programs. The primary focus of this candidate will be the management, maintenance, and tracking of the classified cable infrastructure. This includes managing new cable infrastructure projects. Candidate will work directly with Lockheed Martin Facilities, Network infrastructure, and Physical Security personnel to gather requirements, to engineer changes, and to maintain documentation of the campus PDS. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have active TS/SCI security clearance.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

Maintain Telecom closets and verify/provide corrective actions needed to remediate PDS and Red/Black separation issues to bring infrastructure into compliance.

Managing internal Telecom sub-contractor on all Facilities construction projects to ensure compliance for all classified infrastructure installations and providing oversight until project completion.

Work with current classified/unclassified network teams, Computer Security, and cabling technicians to label existing copper and fiber infrastructure end to end within the Waterton campus and Denver metro area.

Maintain fiber circuits inventory in a database. Fiber circuits will be labelled throughout the run.

Utilize EXFO fiber optic and copper test equipment to verify continuity and operational standards.

Travel will be required to Denver metro area, Boulder, CTC, Colorado Springs satellite locations.

Support PDS SME and Physical Security with campus wide PDS System annual inspections and periodic audits.

Participate in customer reviews in support of new or changing requirements, System outages and Security impacts

Participate in customer system testing and validation Active TS/SCI required for this role
Involvement/Experience with Engineering and Installation of Protected Distribution Systems
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of physical network disciplines such as:
Knowledge of general networking principles
Experience with building fiber optic topologies that support Routers, Switches, Firewalls and switches
Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot physical fiber and copper data circuit network issues, determine root cause, and recommend strategies for repair
Proficient with the operation of CAT6A copper cabling and fiber optic, termination, and test equipment such as Fluke, EXFO, NetScout, Corning, and similar test gear
Strong work ethic and attention to detail required. Able to communicate and work well as part of a team and independently
Candidate must be familiar and/or have experience with Protected Distribution Systems (PDS) Guidelines. Candidate must be familiar and/or have experience with Red/Black Installation Guidance for Classified and Un-classified cable separation guidelines.

Familiarity with Government Red/Black Installation Guidance CNSSAM Tempest_01_13
Familiarity with installation practices for Red/Black cabling separation for Secure Areas
Familiarity/Experience with Fiber Optic Intrusion Detection solutions for PDS Systems
Works well in a team environment Knowledge of Microsoft office suite applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Pinnacle Software, and Outlook)
Knowledge of the Agile Hive JIRA tracking tool
