**Job Description**
Join our team as a Welder, where you will play a crucial role in constructing large structures across the country by welding plates to beams and columns. You will primarily focus on Flux-core and MIG welding on rails and stairs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform welding tasks using Flux-core and MIG welding techniques.
+ Weld plates to beams and columns for structural projects.
+ Ensure high-quality welds on rails and stairs.
+ Read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Utilize tape measures accurately for fabrication tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience in MIG Welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
+ Ability to read welding blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Proficiency in using tape measures for precise measurements.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in structural welding or relevant schooling.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large steel mill environment with a focus on structural steel fabrication. The first shift operates from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 49 hours per week. Our facility is equipped to handle large-scale projects, ensuring precise and perfect welds on structural steel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
