This is for full-time, seasonal employment. **Duties include:** The workers will perform seasonal landscaping and grounds maintenance duties. In preparation for winter, tasks include winterizing lawns and landscape beds, trimming shrubs, and cleaning up residual leaves and weeds. Workers will pretreat specified driveways, walkaways, and roads before snow or ice events and provide snow and ice removal services during and after storms, based on customer demand. A wide variety of landscaping work will also be required throughout the season. Duties may include mowing or edging lawns; planting and watering grass, trees, shrubs, flowers, or ground cover; applying mulch; pruning vegetation; and removing litter or yard debris. Workers will operate hand tools and powered equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, snow blowers, and sprayers. Additional responsibilities include fertilizing, managing irrigation systems, applying herbicides or pesticides, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas. Projects may also involve installing or repairing landscape features such as retaining walls, drainage systems, or planters in accordance with design plans. **Special requirements include**: Three (3) months of experience required in seasonal landscaping, grounds maintenance related work. Employer will provide on-the-job-training.

The pay is $19.30 per hour with overtime available at $28.95 per hour, based on an hourly rate. The schedule is 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Occasionally, work may be scheduled on Sundays if weather conditions prevent work on other days. The employer will stagger days throughout the week to ensure a total of 40 hours per week. The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 205 Old Highway 100, Villa Ridge, Missouri 63089 and will service clients within St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) Including the counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton and Jersey in Illinois; and Crawford (only the city of Sullivan), Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison, Monroe, St. Charles, St. Clair, St. Louis and Warren in Missouri. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. The pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. The offered housing is optional for workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonably common carrier for the distance involved.

Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00

per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those andated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide the worker, at no charge, with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
