CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

• Installing conduit and wire or cable runs

• Repairs to machines involving replacement of fuses, relays, and starters

• Rebuild motors and motor starters

• Repair electrical breakdowns due to component failures.

• Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and follow safe work practices.

• Work as part of a team to plan and conduct equipment repairs.

• Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.

• Maintain open and professional line of communication with operations.

• Respond to unplanned/emergency work requests in a timely & effective manner.

• Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.

• Be highly motivated and able to work independently.

• Utilize SAP system to document all work performed & enter data into the computer.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED ) preferred

• The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

• Work performed inside and outside of building or coolers.

• Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.

• Must be able to lift up to 6 0lbs.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING REQUIREMENT:

• Bump cap, hair/ beardnet , eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection , LED helmet light, full-face respirators, single-multiple gas meters, thermal gloves, Arc-flash clothing, Arc-flash face shield, fire-resistant hood, electrical gloves and safety shoes
