Note: The hourly rate for this position is $19 - $24 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Hours: 5x8's, Monday-Friday, 40+ hours
- Perform general carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork
- Hand digging and trenching as needed for footings or utilities
- Assist with concrete placement, including pouring, leveling, and spreading
- Support concrete finishing crew with tools, edging, jointing, and surface prep Load, unload, and move materials and tools around the job site
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas F
- ollow safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times
- Work closely with lead carpenters and crew to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work long hours outdoors
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic knowledge of concrete forming and general carpentry practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to jobsite safety
- Willingness to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
- Prior experience using Hand tools, basic carpentry tools preferred
- Position requires a drug screen and background check
