The Project Manager oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and financial reporting. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential risks, resolving technical and operational challenges, budgeting and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency strategies, to ensure successful execution. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with customer expectations. Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project quality and ensure deliverables meet both customer specifications and internal standards. Maintain accurate project records, including technical specifications, timelines, cost analyses, forecasting and progress reports. Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Oversee project closure, including final documentation, lessons learned, and customer feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project and ERP systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and financial data. Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting industrial automation or packaging machinery. Advanced problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to continuous improvement. Knowledge of regulatory standards applicable to packaging machinery (e.g., FDA, ISO, CE Mark) is highly desirable. Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within project teams. What's in it for you?
