Job Summary
RetroAIM is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Foreman to oversee onsite project execution. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contract specifications and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
- Obtain and understand all contract documents, specifications, and submittals for their project.
- Have a clear understanding of scope and contract requirements.
- Provide day-to-day management of their project. Oversee all Retro workers assigned to the project.
- Interact with the customer. Understand and meet customer needs.
- Ensure all workers onsite have their necessary tools.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are available, when necessary, on the jobsite.
- Ensure all workers utilize proper PPE.
- Ensure that all work is being performed in a safe and workmanlike manner.
- Ensure all required permits are obtained and are current for work on their job site.
- Maintain accurate time records for all workers on their jobsite.
- Notify the PMs and Operations Managers of any absent or tardy workers assigned to their jobsite.
- Record daily progress, weather, and jobsite occurrences on the daily job report.
- Document pre-existing site damage.
- Ensure that rental equipment use is minimized.
- Ensure that onsite workers only perform tasks for which they are trained or qualified.
- Track job progress.
- Ensure all work is installed to Retros quality standards.
- Identify training needs of insulators and report training needs to Operations Managers and PMs.
Weekly Duties:
- Conduct or attend a weekly safety toolbox talk.
- Approve time for project employees.
As Needed Duties:
- Obtain sign-off sheets at job completion.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction management highly desired, not required.
- Vocational/Technical Education at High School level desired, not required.
- Able to read/interpret construction documents.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
