Boiler Operator - Riddle Plywood

Key Responsibilities

• Cleans ash from boiler grates
• Ensures adequate supply of hog fuel
• Maintains high standard of housekeeping
• Must be self-motivated
• Ability to learn all aspects of boiler operations
• Ability to work in confined spaces and operate mobile equipment
• Ability to learn and retain complex processes throughout boiler
• Ability to safely complete complex process equipment large lockouts
• Must follow Roseburg values and Riddle Operating Principles

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Job is physically demanding; must be able to occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour (day & night) shift
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and shut downs as needed to facilitate the effective operation of the Boiler
• Boiler experience is desirable, but not required
• Attend trainings and achieve passing scores as required
