Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with a mechanical aptitude and experience in mechanical manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, the ability to interpret technical diagrams, and strong mathematical skills. The role involves operating machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring precision through visual inspections.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate various machinery, including Laser Welding Machines, Laser-Marking Machines, Laser Cutting, and Laser Engraving machines.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on-site.
+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Follow detailed instructions for machine calibration and setup.
+ Conduct visual inspections with attention to detail.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ 1-2 years of mechanical manufacturing experience
+ Experience with hand and power tools
+ Ability to interpret technical diagrams
+ Strong mathematical skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
+ Prior machine operation experience is ideal but not required
+ Good work ethic with the ability to follow trust-based policies
+ Reliability to work daily for a minimum of 8 hours

This is a Contract position based out of Monroe, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
