Educational and Experience Requirement
Less than a high school diploma with the ability to read and write. No experience required. Prefer any experience acquired in building maintenance, mechanical work, or related assignments.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Responsible for performing a variety of unskilled manual tasks for Residence Life Maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs repetitive duties in the field of make-ready for Residence Life Maintenance; this includes but is not limited to changing light bulbs, using ladders, inspect and repair door hardware, inspect and repair plumbing fixtures such as faucets and toilets. Requires the ability to caulk and paint, repair and install mini-blinds, and conduct minor electrical repairs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

As required by assignments. Accurate in following specific oral and written instructions. Working conditions are continuously exposed to one or more disagreeable elements such as dirt, dust, heat, fumes, cold, noise, wet, vibration, poor lighting, or congested working area.
