Hydraulic Engineer We're looking for aHydraulics Design Engineer to support the development of Transportation Projects.Responsibilities will include the design and analysis of open and closed storm drainage systems for linear transportation projects, hydraulic culvert/bridge design, and permitting.The desired candidate can also develop erosion and sediment pollution control design plans, as well as abilities to supplement design efforts of the overall civil/highway group. Location This position will be remote but is asked to live in the state of Tennessee. The Impact You Will Have Perform hydrology/hydraulic analysis for the design and construction of transportation projects Perform stormwater management system and pond design Provide fieldwork assistance to verify existing site conditions What You Will Need Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of technical design of transportation projects B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplinerequired PE required; ability to obtain Tennessee PE MicroStation, GEOPAK drainage, and HEC-RAS experience Experience developing deliverables per TDOT standards and requirements (including BSR/CSR) is preferred Experience in erosion and sediment pollution control design (TDOT Level III Certification a plus) Working knowledge of TDOT Guidelines for Drainage Studies and Hydraulic Design Working knowledge of the FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner #LI-MF1 Explore the Benefits of Working at Benesch!
