U Electrician A

Hanover Foods Clayton, De is now seeking a 2nd shift U Electrician A. We offer great benefits, stable work shifts, and a welcoming work environment.

1. Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
2. Perform tests and calibrate electronic equipment.
3. Proficient skills required in the use of VOM meter, AMP meter and basic testing equipment.
4. Assure all guards are in place prior to operating.
5. Knowledge of PLCs and AC-DC drives, motor drives.
6. Furnish own tools common to this trade.
7. Properly dispose of waste materials.
8. Report any product, questionable in quality, to the Manager, Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance personnel immediately.
9. Keep all areas clean and orderly at all times.
10. Adheres to common safety practices and rules; including wearing protective equipment and clothing as required.
11. Adheres to plant hygiene regulations to ensure high product integrity.
12. Must not leave assigned area, unless given permission by the Supervisor and/or Lead.
13. Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMPs, food safety, food security, product quality, plant security, etc.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous electrical experience from training in the field
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
