THE JOB:

Join our corporate floral team at MGM Resorts as a Floral Laborer , where you will play an essential role in supporting various areas of our properties. In this position, you will provide general assistance to ensure the integrity and aesthetic appeal of our facilities while contributing to the seamless execution of our floral operations.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.58 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Collect and carry required parts, materials, and equipment to designated work areas, assisting with office moves, furniture relocation, and casino equipment adjustments.

• Complete floral arrangement deliveries to MGM properties for various events, decor, etc.

• Perform demolition and cleanup tasks associated with floral construction projects.

• Pick up parts and supplies from vendors and maintain an organized and clean maintenance department warehouse.

• Complete all tasks assigned by Dispatch or Management while maintaining accurate logbooks.

• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Stay informed about current techniques and technical methods, advising the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.

• Maintain a constant focus on cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention, adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.

• Perform other job-related duties as requested to support the team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
