Small Fabrication Shop Welder

Key Duties:
Welding using MIG, in the repair in production of truck beds and trailers
Painting of overall body of truck or trailer.
Wiring of lights, brakes or any other necessary items as requested.
Maintenance and minor repairs: on welding and fitting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in fabrication shop environment.
Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to operate welding and fitting equipment.
Painting equipment operation and application of paint to a professional quality
Basic understanding of wiring and ability to be trained to a high degree.
Basic understanding of brakes and ability to determine necessary repairs needed.
Forklift certified or the willingness to get trained and certified.

Track daily tasks by time for proper customer billing.
Strong focus on precision and quality in fitting and welding tasks.
Capable of working in various positions and environments, including handling large and heavy parts and metal.
Understanding of safety procedures and regulations in fitting and welding operations.
Able to communicate with customers in a professional manor.
