Machine Operator - 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
Join a leading international manufacturer specializing in steel-reinforced springs. As a customer-focused, world-class supplier, we serve various industries including railroad, aerospace, food and beverage, and auto, providing a wide range of metal forming needs with over 3,000 different spring products. We are seeking a skilled machine operator to ensure precision and efficiency in our production process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklift truck, hand truck, or crane to move, convey, or hoist spring wire from storage area to work area.
+ Perform machine set-ups with a strong emphasis on CNC work.
+ Complete the coiling of springs according to work orders.
+ Inspect springs for proper dimensions and check for desired length.
+ Clean machines and perform minor maintenance tasks.
+ Assist less experienced operators in the selection of tooling and operation of equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in machine operation and set-up.
+ Experience with calipers and micrometers.
+ Forklift operation skills.
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with CNC machines.
+ Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers and micrometers.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
