JOB SUMMARY
This role requires a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is willing and open to learning new skills and building their knowledge base. The skills that we will be looking to develop are excellent decision-making and independent judgment with respect to the management of multiple job sites across all J.R McDade's product lines. The Assistant Field Superintendent will need to assist JRM's Field Superintendent with all tasks. Included but not limited to ensuring construction sites are ready for material delivery/installation, and confirming completion of work once completed. Will assist with the completion of quality checks on the installation of all products. Management of jobsites to ensure the scope of work from installation teams are running efficiently following the scheduled timeliness. Complete customer service items when needed to uphold customer/homebuyer requirements. Work with builder field superintendents, other JRM employees, and installation teams to establish a positive working relationship. Follow through with issue resolution daily. All aspects of this job require the ability to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices. Furthermore, it is imperative that a person in this role can show poise and sound reasoning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborates with JRM team and Builder/Customer to achieve targeted results.
- Diligently maintains records to ensure quantity, and notes are accurate and adequate per company standards and guidelines.
- Ensures proper paperwork has been submitted for tasks that require it
- Ensures all field personnel have necessary materials for jobs
- Continuously work to maintain good working relationships
- Complete field measurements/walks at frame stage to confirm layout accuracy. Do plan redlines when needed
- Perform QC checks on installations to ensure quality workmanship was completed
- Perform service/punch items when needed (touch-ups, blue tape corrections, etc)
- Deliver cabinets and other material if necessary
- Manage client relations and acts as liaison between client and contractors
- Ensures that all safety and OSHA regulations are communicated to installation teams and adhered to.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Construction background preferred
- Good communication skills
- Self-Motivated/Hard Worker
- Able to learn new knowledge and skills
- Must have a valid driver's license.
