Welder**

**Job Description**

The position involves performing MIG welding on fabricated metal parts for both standard and specialized products. The role requires the ability to follow blueprints and engineered drawings, set up machines to the necessary specifications, and assist other departments as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal parts for the production of standard and specialized products.

+ Follow blueprints and other engineered drawings.

+ Set up welding machines to necessary specifications.

+ Seek out opportunities to assist other departments when not welding.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience with MIG welding and setting up machines for light gauge metals (16 gauge to ).

+ Understanding of welding procedures, including electrode size, current, arc length and voltage, travel speed, and electrode angle.

+ Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints.

+ Ability to convert blueprint knowledge into efficient product fabrication.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Experience with stainless steel and fabrication.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.79 - $22.99/hr.
