Job Description

Heavy Civil Superintendent

We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale heavy civil construction projects across the Central Plains region (NE, KS, IA, ND, SD). This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage crews, assign daily tasks, and operate earth-moving equipment when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate field operations on multi-million dollar heavy civil projects

Assign daily tasks, oversee crews, and ensure productivity and safety on site

Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.) as needed to support project progress

Maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate with project managers

Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a foreman or superintendent on heavy civil or highway projects

Strong background in excavation and heavy equipment operation

Willingness to travel Monday-Friday (home on weekends)

Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
