Skilled Carpenter $20-30 Job Description As a Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial structures and fixtures. The primary materials used will include wood, though you will also work with other materials such as steel and concrete. Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, steel, and concrete. Read and interpret blueprints to determine specific project requirements. Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately to fit specifications. Use a variety of tools to build frames, fixtures, and other structural components. Perform finish carpentry and drywall work as required. Undertake rough carpentry tasks during the construction phase. Essential Skills Proficiency in construction and carpentry techniques. Experience with framing, concrete, and finish carpentry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Skilled in using a variety of construction tools. Knowledge of commercial construction practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in finish carpentry and drywall work is a plus. Capability to perform rough carpentry tasks effectively.
