Designer And Drafter

An Engineering Technician serves as the technical resource responsible for providing the necessary engineering, product, and installation information to execute new and reconstruction cooling tower projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate installation and fabrication drawings, along with bills of materials, for basic cooling tower components, with supervision.
• Assist with field problem resolution.
• Support design and development of new components.
• Conduct cooling tower inspections as required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• 0-3 years of experience in detailing and application of structural, mechanical, and materials detailing and application skills.

• Product experience in cooling tower design is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with all materials of construction including lumber, fiberglass, steel, and concrete is a plus.
• Experience in practical construction and assembly of products.
• Some travel may be required.

This role is within a leading company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and contracting of cooling towers. The company provides innovative solutions in the power generation, industrial, refrigeration, and HVAC evaporative cooling markets. The work environment involves working with new and replacement field-erected cooling towers and offers a range of aftermarket services including replacement parts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
