Tasks

As the Tooling and Test Equipment Engineer, Electrical, you will be entrusted with a spectrum of responsibilities, including:

  • Specify or develop tools, test fixtures, and automated test stands as needed using standard and specialized test equipment and software development tools
  • Write technical specifications and create drawings using CAD tools
  • Create test instructions and procedures for component testing
  • Assist in training technicians in the usage of test equipment
  • Provide engineering support for calibration and maintenance of all test equipment
  • Provide engineering support to production for current testing/repair capabilities and solve production issues involving test equipment, instrumentation, software, and data acquisition systems
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to complete projects and documentation requirements
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

You must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical and/ or computer engineering or equivalent required
  • Master's degree desirable
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in aviation MRO engineering desirable
  • Experience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirements and navigate efficiently through repair documentation
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Knowledge in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO)
  • Knowledge in Aviation law, both EASA and FAA
  • MS Office skills as user
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
  • CV/Resume required
