Technician**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team processing diverse grains and minerals for the food and pharmaceutical industries. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and accuracy of our instrumentation systems.

**Responsibilities**

+ Provide instrumentation services including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, documentation, checkout, and commissioning of instrumentation and valves.

+ Manage workload to maintain effectiveness and productivity.

+ Accurately document instrumentation service work, including work orders, calibration reports, variance reports, and MOC documents.

+ Train and support non-technical users on the use of plant floor automation systems.

+ Maintain instrument as-built documentation.

+ Work with 4-20mA analog signals and discrete signals, with experience in HART communication, Rockwell Software, Allen Bradley Drives being beneficial.

+ Remove pressure, flow, and temperature devices and perform calibrations to ensure accuracy.

+ Test instrument interlocks with PLC to ensure proper operation, install instruments and sanitary tubing.

+ Install, audit (voltage/amp check, megg), and commission equipment to ensure proper operation and functionality.

+ Perform wire terminations on instruments and PLC panels and other electrical duties required such as bending conduit and pulling wire.

**Essential Skills**

+ Three (3) years of experience in a maintenance capacity within a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to troubleshoot programs residing in Rockwell Automation PLC Control Systems.

+ Understanding of interfacing with PLCs, scales, and display devices.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems using 480 volt 3 phase as well as 240 volt through 24 volt single phase systems.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with SAP is a plus but not required.

+ Experience with HART communication, Rockwell Software, and Allen Bradley Drives is beneficial.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Sioux City, Nebraska.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
