We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments, ensuring work is completed according to local and national codes. The Journeyman Electrician should be able to read blueprints, diagnose electrical problems, and work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using specialized tools and testing equipment. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Lead or assist apprentices and less experienced electricians. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers. Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements: Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state-specific). High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program. 4+ years of experience in the electrical trade. Proficient in using hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic devices. Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition with the ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions. Valid driver s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems. OSHA 10 or 30 certification. Knowledge of energy-efficient and smart systems (e.g., solar, automation).
