A Project Manager is needed for a company that produces electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings in the Greenville, SC area. This project manager role in the building construction industry requires a degree and at least 5 years' experience to lead projects from planning to completion, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate stakeholders, ensure compliance and safety, and drive customer satisfaction and profitability using strong communication and technical skills. location: Greenville, South Carolina job type: Contract salary: $62.96 - 74.07 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Act as the on-site leader for execution teams on assigned projects.Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.Evaluate contract scope and address scope changes through change orders.Prepare and negotiate cost estimates and final settlement pricing.Manage project finances including billing, profitability, and cash flow.Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.Analyze project data to anticipate and resolve problems.Develop and implement risk mitigation and recovery plans.Prepare and negotiate subcontracts.Ensure document control complies with contracts and standards. Skills: strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to explain technical content to non-technical audiences.Proficiency in Project Management software and financial accounting systems.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer, Visio, and Windows environment.
