Our client, a leading manufacturer in the bedding industry, is seeking an Assembler General Laborer to join their team. As an Assembler General Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of high-quality mattresses. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler General Laborer

Location: Aurora, CO

Pay Range:

Shift: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

  • Tape-edge close mattresses according to established work instructions using a closing sewing machine.
  • Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment
  • Feed materials into the sewing machine while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Correct any defective taping on mattresses and perform basic maintenance on the sewing machine.
  • Lift or slide finished mattresses onto the take-away conveyor.
  • Assist in other areas of mattress building as requested.

What's Needed?

  • Basic ability to read and write in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and take initiative.
  • Experience in sewing machinery and/or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School graduate or equivalent GED.
