Civil Engineer

A consulting firm specializing in civil and structural engineering, environmental science, and surveying across Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, is looking to add a Civil Engineer to their team!

Job Description:

• Utilize Civil 3D to create the design of grading/ earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater design, design of pavement
• Prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects
• Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, design review
• May visit project sites for field inspection if needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of site development related experience
• Experience in land development and stormwater analysis and design
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Site development experience with state and local regulatory agencies
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders (client, contractor, sub-consultants, residents)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the public and resolve problems with contractors
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is a plus
• Must be able to work independently and with a team on projects
• Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, able to multitask, and work effectively as a team member

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
