A consulting firm specializing in civil and structural engineering, environmental science, and surveying across Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, is looking to add a Civil Engineer to their team!
Job Description:
- Utilize Civil 3D to create the design of grading/ earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater design, design of pavement
- Prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects
- Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, design review
- May visit project sites for field inspection if needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of site development related experience
- Experience in land development and stormwater analysis and design
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Site development experience with state and local regulatory agencies
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders (client, contractor, sub-consultants, residents)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the public and resolve problems with contractors
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is a plus
- Must be able to work independently and with a team on projects
- Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, able to multitask, and work effectively as a team member
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
