At GoPro , we are seeking a highly skilled estimator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee cost estimation for potential commercial flooring projects across the country. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation: Analyze and review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate, detailed estimates at all stages of designwhether Budgetary, DD (Design Development), CD (Construction Documents), GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price), or Double-Check.
Material Estimation: Develop comprehensive material quantity estimates for flooring and related materials to meet all requirements of the flooring bid package. (Note: This role is focused on estimating materials, not pricing labor or materials.)
Request for Information (RFIs): Draft and submit project-specific RFIs to be reviewed by the Sales Team, architects, or general contractors to clarify project details.
Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable suggestions to project teams for optimization.
Quality Control: Review your own estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to the Sales Team.
Timely Delivery: Complete estimates in a timely manner, adhering to National Estimating Standards and project timelines.

What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Desirable but not required.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of flooring products, installation methods, and their correct applications in various commercial settings.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software tools.
Work Style: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills are a must.
