Job Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Pay: Based on Experience

Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring experienced HVAC Mechanics for commercial projects in Birmingham, AL. We're looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals who are ready to work consistent hours and assist with ductwork installations on site.

Work Scope Includes:

• Assisting with assembling, hanging, cutting, and installing ductwork according to project specifications

• Installing HVAC equipment, vents, and related components

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings

• Inspecting and testing systems for proper operation

• Maintaining a safe and clean work area

• Supporting the crew with other HVAC tasks as needed

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

• Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

• 48-hour work weeks - plenty of overtime opportunities!

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a commercial HVAC mechanic

• Must have experience working with ductwork

• Must have all necessary hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, gloves, safety glasses, work boots)

• Ability to read and work from construction drawings

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
