About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll support and manage small-scale capital projects or phases of larger projects-under the guidance of a senior project manager or program manager. From planning to execution, you'll be involved in all stages of the project life cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee small capital projects or portions of larger ones, following established project management practices.

  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope and governance guidelines.

  • Write scopes of work and coordinate requests for proposals with vendors and contractors.

  • Manage project planning, design, and construction activities.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules; share regular progress updates.

  • Monitor and control project cost, timeline, risk, and scope.

  • Support cost forecasting, schedule tracking, quality reporting, and change control.

  • Help negotiate work scope changes with contractors and ensure timely completion of contract deliverables.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Comfort using technical tools, software, and project applications.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

  • Ability to motivate and influence others to drive progress.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of related professional experience.

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

  • Background in engineering or technical project support.

  • Understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., NEPA, SHPO, Army Corps of Engineers).

  • Experience using SAP for cost tracking and forecasting.

  • Knowledge of Primavera or other scheduling/project management tools.

  • Experience with electric utility design or construction.

  • Familiarity with company policies, systems, and business practices.
