The Livers Bronze Company dedicates itself to the engineering and production of architectural metal products including bronze, aluminum, stainless steel and steel. Today, our products include quality hand railings for our customers throughout the world in various industries.
Our manufacturing processes include operations in the Fabrication, Finishing, Assembly, and Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse areas. The Sheet Metal associate(s) are part of the Fabrication section. Position Purpose: Operate metal shear, CNC press brakes, (Amada and BLM) along with other supporting equipment as needed. Specific Duties/Accountabilities: Read work order to understand material and processes required to complete tasks.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Programming and setting up the machines in the sheet metal department.

Performing quality control checks using measuring tools and inspection methods.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Management Responsibility: Individual contributor with no subordinates. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
CNC programming knowledge.

The ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

General math skills.

Ability to use standard precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers and protractors.

Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.

Demonstrate strong teamwork qualities.

Able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Use time effectively, by prioritizing work and anticipating obstacles to completing assigned tasks.
Education, Training and Experience: Minimum : High school diploma or equivalent.
Desirable: Vocational training (metal or wood shop); knowledge of production processes and quality control.

Working Environment:
Indoor manufacturing environment, summer temperatures may 90+ degrees and winter temperatures may reach 45 degrees or less; work around equipment with moving parts; noise from equipment operation and other manufacturing processes; wear required PPE/safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses, gloves).
