Field Service Technician Job Description This entry-level role is focused on learning and assisting with equipment operations and maintenance. You will gain hands-on experience with crushing and screening equipment, learning the fundamentals of electrical and hydraulic systems, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This role requires you to have stick welding experience. Responsibilities Assist with equipment setup and movement under supervision. Learn basic crushing equipment operations. Follow instructions and safety protocols, including PPE and LOTO. Begin learning electrical and hydraulic systems. Use basic diagnostic tools and service reports. Essential Skills Strong willingness to learn. Ability to obtain basic hand tools within 180 days. 1 year experience with safety PPE and LOTO procedures. Exposure to heavy industrial equipment, ideally rock crushing equipment. Understanding of electric and hydraulics fundamentals. Additional Skills & Qualifications CLEAN driving record required. Basic electric and hydraulics fundamentals. Stick welding fundamentals. Ability to write quality service reports with detailed explanations and documentation.
