CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a leading apparel company dedicated to creating high-quality, stylish, and functional clothing. They are currently looking to add a Product Development Manager to their team. Their team is passionate about innovation, craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional products to customers worldwide.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$32/hr - $38/hr
$90k - $100k if converted to permanent
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Development Manager to lead and manage the development of new products from concept through launch. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product lifecycle management, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to commercialization.
Collaborate with R D, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to develop product concepts.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges during development.
Drive product testing, validation, and iteration based on customer and market feedback.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and quality guidelines.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
5+ years of experience in product development, project management, or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully launching new products.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and proficiency in working within a PLM system.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
