Superintendent

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities with a focus on MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and controls)
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Develop and maintain lookahead schedules and ensure alignment with the master project schedule
• Conduct daily site walks, safety audits, and quality control inspections
• Lead MEP coordination meetings and resolve field conflicts in collaboration with the BIM/VDC team
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Track and report progress, issues, and changes to the project team and stakeholders

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in business, engineering, construction management, building construction, or a related field. (Bachelors degree preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of electrical or construction experience in field operations, with a preferred concentration in large commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices
• Extensive knowledge of the electrical code
• Project management training, experience, and skills.
• Understanding of the project life cycle

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
